Please join us! We welcome all new members.

You’ll be joining an important and active special interest group with specific interest in the private practice setting of physical therapy. This is a very influential and dynamic group of practitioners. Currently we have over 100 members in the PPSIG.

An excellent education program consisting of an annual spring conference held at Lake Chelan, Washington. As a member, you have the opportunity to participate in choosing educational topics, as well as receive discounted conference fees. The meeting is annually held at Campbell’s Resort (www.campbellsresort.com), where all rooms have great views of beautiful Lake Chelan and the Cascade mountain range.

Comradery: Not long ago, one of our board members ran into a speaker who previously had presented a program at our annual conference. This person exclaimed that this group of practitioners was the “most fun group” she’d spoken to. Meet new colleagues and expand your networking and contacts.

Information sharing: Through our website and forum, we share information and ideas of interest to physical therapists in private practice. Have a question about reimbursement? Wonder how other clinics address Medicare and CPT coding issues? Check in our Members Only section of our website, or post a question to our forum.
Marketing tools: Only members will have access to tools being developed by Rocky, Hill and Knowlton, a firm specializing in Public Relations and Communication. This is a bold and exciting venture for the PPSIG.

Email alerts: When our members share important or breaking news, members are emailed with an alert.

Have a voice for your concerns in political action, lobbying efforts, reimbursement issues. As a group and part of PTWA/APTA, we can have an impact on reimbursement or political issues that affect us.
